A Divine Evening?

Things did not turn out exactly how I wanted them to turn out tonight. Perhaps, they turned out better, and perhaps in time only then will I be able to know for sure. The weather outside tonight is "frightful" (I had to put a YouTube video in that link so you could hear what I heard when I wrote that word).

Anyway... I had bought a pair of Nets tickets for a game tonight, but the weather just turned out to be to ugly and nasty! Instead, I ended up revamping faithfullyclever.com. This is something that I have been thinking about doing for awhile, but I have not had the time nor desire (at the same time). Anyway, if you where to take a look, you would probably be able to tell that it still needs work. However, I am so much more relieved at how it looks now.

So, I was thinking that tonight could be a divine night because the Lord wanted me to remember it. So much in fact the Lord wanted me to remember it, that I would end up paying $40 for a pair of Nets tickets that I would never use, due to the weather, and instead would redesigned faithfullyclever.com.

You really have no idea of all the ideas that are flying around my head though, in making faithfullyclever.com a bomb diggity website. Still it is going to take time though, everyone has a life, including me, and has responsibilities to take care of. However, if you never start somewhere, well that is just it, you never start.

Take care, God bless! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! (I will probably post again soon, but just in case I don't, that is the reason for all the season greetings/wishes.)

And yes! You can say "Merry Christmas" up until, and during Christmas day (it is not a crime or illegal, don't be afraid, you can do it!)

Here is one of my favorite YouTube videos showing the absurdity of this new "happy holidays" craze. Get over it people, it's called Christmas (with a capital C)!

Kingdom of Heaven and Worldly Political Power

I saw this movie fully for the first time about two years ago and it fascinated me, as it is about the "holy" crusades and the political powers that fought for control of Jerusalem centuries ago. I have found a few souls, in my walk with the Lord, that have questioned me about the crusades, and indeed the crusades seem to contradict Christianity itself (as Christ says to love thy enemies). However, the other day as I caught the end of this movie, a couple of things stuck out to me that I found very interesting. Near the end of the movie, one of the major knights (when he is quiting) says something like this, "In the beginning, I thought we where fighting for God. However, somewhere along the line, I realized it was for property and land, and I was ashamed."

What dawned on me is yes, during the movie and perhaps the crusades themselves, they where fighting for control of Jerusalem. However, the grandest part is that Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords and nothing will ever change that. In the end, the worldly powers that control Jerusalem will make little difference, Christ will crush all His enemies. It is like I saw the Lord on His throne watching the political powers that be. All the kings and rulers of this earth will one day have to bow their knees to Him and all will have to confess Him as Lord. How mighty and majestic the Lord is, and man fights over land and property that does not nor will ever fully belong to them: It all belongs to God; it is best now to surrender to the Lord and serve Him while you have the chance.

Iraqi Journalist Throws Shoes at Bush

Wow! Our president has good reflexes... and Iraq is very ungrateful. How dare that man insult our president and our country with his shoes! Just kidding, but I wonder what kind of punishment he will get.

Google Adsence, School Outreach, Proverbs and Bathroom Update

So far with Google AdSense, I have made $9.23. It is still "the day of small things," but it seems there is some sort of multiplication taking place.

Here at the House of Mercy Mission, we are gearing up for our Newark schools' Christmas outreach. We are nearly in full swing, as next week Tuesday will kick off the beginning with the first school.

Tonight, here at the mission, pastor Sam taught on Proverbs 15:8-14.

On a different note, our bathroom remodeling is finished and looks real nice. I want to post a few before and after pictures to show you the difference.

Court won't take Obama Citizenship Case

Here I am to Worship

Monday Morning

It is Monday, December 8, 2008, and what a cold and beautiful day it looks like it is going to be. Only seventeen more days until Christmas, how splendid that is.

A Crazy-Blessed Life

It was a long day, and to top it off, I had the privilege of making six teenagers make fifty bags of cookies and pretzels, which will be distributed on Sunday at Newark Extended Care Facility. It wasn't easy to get Tilly's Teens to make the bags, but here is the end result:

Earlier today, I did a little Christmas shopping and purchased these trucks for our yearly Newark Public School's Christmas outreach:

Lightly Freaked Out

I was working on my Sarah's laptop earlier tonight, trying to put more memory into it, and it started to freeze up. I then manually turned off the laptop and it would not reboot, it just sported a black screen. I started to think, "If my Sarah sees this, I'll never hear the end of it." To make a long story short, it was the memory that I was attempting to install that freaked out the laptop (which in turn made me freaked out a bit). It was one of those moments you ask: "Why me?!"

Everything worked out though when I switched the memory around (in the end even managing to add a little), and I sure was relieved. So, that just goes to show you that you shouldn't just give up because it looks bad, you have got to press in to get that victory God desires for you to have: After all, isn't it victory that God desires us to walk in?

December '08 has Arrived

Can you hear the sleigh bells ringing yet? Christmas has arrived, hasn't it? I see so much to do, just on my own personal to do list. Fun, fun, fun! Merry Christmas! (I know it is early, but it will be here before you know it. I mean really, what is 25 days?) Rewinding a little bit, did everyone have a nice Thanksgiving? Mine was pretty good, spending it with Sarah and church friends.

I am just so excited about what God is doing. I don't know if there is anyone else out there who can just feel God working like I can, but it is the grandest thing. Well, God bless ya all!
