Yes, Black Lives Matter Absolutely

Dallas. Why? Sin. Sin is the problem, whether it's racism or hate, murder or whatever else. Sin! Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God! As a white man living in a predominately back community, my experience is somehow connected to a black man in a white community. It's weird. Thinking about it all. Yes the black man might experience racism, and that is not right, but every day that I walk out of my door I have to be careful no one is going to try to mug me. What experience is worse? Are they equal? Black lives matter? ABSOLUTELY! But what I see every day here in Newark is black on black crime. So who really doesn't understand then that black lives matter? Love! Jesus! Love God and love other people, that is the only solution. God bless.

Another Year, Another Birthday

I turned 37 yesterday, happy birthday to me! But to be honest, I have felt like 37 for a couple months now, or is it the other way around: turning 37 feels like you're still 36. What is life but a vapor? We are having a funeral here at the Mission on Friday. Someone I worked with here. Was sad to hear the news, is so easy to think things are never going to change, no one is going to die, everyone is going to live forever. But we all have an appointment, the Bible says, and this appointment to die is kept by everyone. I am happy this person knew the Lord though, so though like all our fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord, though death may temporarily separate us, the time will come when we will spend eternity together with the Lord. And that my friends, is good news!

The Whisper of the Father

The day has come, the hour is here, when the Father of lights is looking down upon the children of men to see if there are any that are seeking Him with all their heart. "Are there any?" I hear the Father whisper, "For I desire to bless and not curse."

Nothing is impossible with God!

God is good all the time and all the time God is good! Amen? Amen!

Life can be tough sometimes but the God we serve is tougher! Nothing is too difficult for Him! We serve a mighty God, we serve a powerful God, and with Him nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible with God! Amen? Amen!

Hello, What Is Going On?

What to write, what to write. I am not sure but I want to write, so here I go, lets see what happens.

It's May 13th 2016, 6:02pm. I am a bit sleepy and it's a Friday evening. What great plans do I have?!?! I am so glad you asked!

Let's see.... Putting my bed frame together, organizing some laundry to take to the laundry mat, jogging a mile as quick as I can at a Retro Fitness and then going to a 24-hour laundry mat to do the laundry. Yes! My life rocks! Ha. I am so sleepy though, like I said before, so I don't know how much of this I will accomplish. Today for the first time in my life perhaps, I willingly woke up at 5am because I was having trouble sleeping. It was cool, I have been up earlier than that to go to work, but usually if I don't have to get up early,  I don't. Never considered myself a morning person, but truth be told if I receive enough sleep I usually enjoy waking early for work. Something about being up and about long before the masses is quite pleasurable. Anyway, I suppose that's all for now. Blessings and peace be upon you!
